Meaning: When I went searching for evil in this world, I did not get any worse. When I looked into my mind and myself, I found that there is nothing worse than me.
Summary: We often call people around us good and bad, but never consider our own behavior. In this couplet, Sant Kabir Das wants to say that we should consider our own actions before assessing others.

Meaning: How many people have spent their entire life in the world while reading books, but not all scholars can become a fine human being. But if one understands only the meaning of love or only two and a half letters of love{in Hindi its เคช्เคฐेเคฎ }, then one becomes true wise if one recognizes the true form or true essence of love.
