Conquer Conversations: Your 30-Day English Challenge.

Conquer Conversations: Your 30-Day English Challenge.

You will have to study basic grammar and learn five new words every day for 30 days if you want to be fluent in English. You can read the newspaper every day or you can read your favourite book, or you can watch your favourite shows. You can also use a vocabulary-building app like Duolingo,vocab24, etc.

Setting the Foundation

  • Define why you want to learn English: Understand your reason to learn English. You will be motivated by knowing your purpose.

  • Set realistic targets: achievable target daily or weekly milestones, such as the acquisition of 10 new words and an understanding of some basic grammar rules of verbs, adverbs, nouns, pronouns, adjectives, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections.

  • Find errors: view errors as stepping stones, not setbacks. No matter how small the progress is, rejoice in it.

Daily Activities for Speaking Practice

Day 1 to 10: Focus On Fundamentals

  • Power Of Pronunciation: Master basic sounds and practise a bit of hard words that are hard to pronounce.

  • Grammar Rules: Focus on essential rules—verbs, nouns, pronouns, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjugations, and sentence structure. I would like to suggest Wren & Martin.

  • Improve Your Vocabulary: Use newspapers, magazines, apps, and articles to find out the everyday words. For example, vocab24 or any other app you like or are comfortable with.

Day 11 to 20: The Conversation Catalyst

  • Talk It Out: Speak English whenever or wherever possible, even with yourself. Tell your friends or family about your day and explain how you're acting, or practice dialogues.

  • Language Exchange Dive: For conversation practice, connect to native speakers online or in person. You can use a couple of apps for connecting to your language like Meta, Reddit, Instagram, etc. There are a few more apps to talk to strangers and practise your English.

  • Role-Playing: Practise common scenarios like ordering your meal, asking for directions, introducing yourself, or having conversations with your friends about your favourite shows, etc.

  • Magic Of Watching Movies: You should watch your favourite movies and TV shows, Anime with subtitles. While watching, focus on pronunciation and natural conversation and try to use it in your day-to-day life. It's like I watch animation, which is helping me a lot.

Day 21-30: Confidence Conquering

  • Record & Reflect: Record yourself speaking and analyse your progress. Identify areas to improve your fluency.

  • Presentation: make a short presentation on a topic you're passionate about and deliver it aloud with your family or friends to gain more confidence.

  • Join the Club: Find online communities or local groups where you can have conversations in English with others.

  • Challenge: Participate in online English-speaking challenges or contests to push your limits and gain feedback.

Bonus Tips To Boost Your Challenge

  • Make it Fun: Incorporate activities you enjoy, like watching English comedy shows, playing language games, watching anime, etc.

  • Find a Support System: Share your challenge with friends, family, or online communities.

  • Reward Yourself: Celebrate milestones and achievements with small treats to keep yourself motivated. It will boost your morale.

  • Don't Give Up: Remember, consistency is the key. Even small daily effort leads to significant progress over time.

Beyond the 30 Days

Remember, your language learning journey doesn't end after 30 days. This is just the beginning! Continue practising, exploring new resources, and challenging yourself. Remember, fluency takes time and dedication, but with consistent effort and the right approach, you'll be amazed at how far you can come.
